I'm not finding many words that can describe the God who showed His
All powerful Holiness, while we were in our sinful mess;
Granting us grace, and we're STILL not worthy yet He loves us

Grace is our bath water, like we're in a shower,
Taking the dirt off the flesh with a spalsh of the Son's power.
the Holy Spirit can't inhabit dirty things
sinful measures seen pulling on our heart strings
Same test, same trial, just a new level
I expect the same things coming from the devil
but my soul weeps when I fall from the same trap
and I think God must see me as a poor sap.
I was done with it, but it keeps pulling me back
When I get my mind focused, thats when I'm under attack
Sadness brings me to tears and I fall to my knees
then I see Jesus face smiling at me
with His hand on my head transforming my mind
and His love overflowing inside my heart
I get so excited! I can't contain my praise to him!
Just another benefit of being born again, yes He!

Stop and think about it, I can't let you doubt it
God set this plan up back in Genisis from the fall
Ever since Adam took a bite of the fruit with his girl Eve
It was written in the heavens, Jesus had to come to earth to save you and me
Thats the greatest act of love! The bible tells us so!
To lay down your life for someone else seems impossible!
But, He didn't care how He felt
He could save the world by himself
And He didn't have to prove He was the King of Kings to anybody else
Had the power to get off the cross anytime He wanted,
Silence all the people who spat at Him, jeered, and taunted.
Walk down from Golgotha calling all the religious leaders fools
If I was in that situation, thats what I would do but,
He was a man and the Son of God incarnate
He didn't boast about His power, He didn't brag, He didn't flaunt it,
He hung upon the cross, died and rose to give us grace
So we could stand upon His word and get salvation through our faith!
